Adding injury to insult

Well now I've broken my foot with multiple little fractures and I may need surgery to stop my arch from collapsing for the rest of my life! I've actually been dealing with this pretty well emotionally but the last 2 days have challenged my optimism. Feeling powerless bites! I'm trying to just cling to the feelings I have that it's all for a good reason.

Well we've spent the last two weeks packing and moving and we're handing the keys back this week, so the transition period is almost over. So far I've been realizing just how blessed we are that for starters, we get along so well with my in laws. I've always noticed, in my life anyway, that in a crisis you learn who your real friends are, and that seems to be true once again. People care who I never even knew noticed us at all!
